Sometimes I wake up in the morning and think, “I have the super most weirdest life in the whole wide world.”
Today was one of those days, because I woke up to an email telling me to check out Daily Candy. I knew the ad I posed for a couple of weeks ago was going live, it’s still kind of funny to see scrolling pictures of yourself getting cuddly. Okay, enough of me hawking make out sessions—let’s talk junk food.
I have a NO JUNK FOOD AT HOME policy. That doesn’t mean I won’t eat it, it just means I have to travel to get it. This whole using my legs as a mode of transportation has a nifty way of separating the ‘must fulfill’ cravings from the ‘I could go for some’ cravings. I have been craving a milkshake for days. DAYS. Maybe weeks. Maybe a lifetime. When was the last time I had a milkshake? Seriously, I was probably still being referred to as “Kimmy” and using a locker on a regular basis, the last time I ordered a pint of ice cream blended with milk and syrup.
I didn’t have a milkshake.
I had a smoothie.
That’s not the point. The point is: I wish I had junk food at home!
I considered leaving the house, but that would have consisted of changing out of my leggings and my leggings were really comfy. The milkshake vs. spandex conundrum is as old as the hills, spadex usually wins. Sometimes these arbitrary rules work out. But, don’t be surprised if a dessert-type beverage shows up here in the coming days—I can’t always be home.

Low car tortillas with tofurky and mustard
Baby carrots w/hummus
Fau-ryo, Morningstar Farms chikn’ starters tossed in turmeric, cumin, garlic powder, salt, paprika
Whole wheat flat bread, homemade tzatziki sauce
Salad with lemon vinaigrette
