I think I eat too much fruit.

Do I eat too much fruit?

I really like fruit, but I’m starting to notice that it makes up the majority of my diet. I should really try to balance that out a bit more. Once summer fruits go into retirement things will probably revert back to normal, but as things stand now I want to get my fill of melons, berries, and stone fruit.

In other proof that my diet isn’t always ideal, I ate banana pudding for dinner. As far as I’m concerned it’s an ideal food: bananas (fruit), nilla wafers (carbs), cream (dairy), egg yolks (protein), and a boatload of sugar for good measure. If you live in New York, or are visiting New York at any time in the near future, please allow me to implore you to visit Sugar Sweet Sunshine in the Lower East Side. Sure they have cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, and other puddings but IT’S ALL ABOUT THE BANANA PUDDING! This stuff makes life worth living. It’s worth a visit to NYC just to get your hands on this stuff, and I maintain that it’s part of a nutritious dinner.

Trust me. I wouldn’t lie to you.
