I’ve decided I have a serious fruit problem. I blame the Internet.

FreshDirect has free delivery all month, so I’ve been getting my groceries delivered. One box of peaches, a bunch of bananas, a cantaloupe, a watermelon, some strawberries, two pounds of cherries, three lemons, and four apples later I’m left wondering how in the world I’m going to eat all of this produce before it goes bad.

If you are in need of vitamins, minerals and fiber come on over!

Grocery delivery is an interesting phenomenon. I like to use it as an excuse to buy all the heavy stuff I wouldn’t want to lug home (i.e. a case of seltzer, and a month’s worth of almonds milk), but it also leads to some seriously lopsided grocery shopping for me. When I’m shopping by picture, I’m not thinking about the meals I’ll need to make for myself during the week.

In the coming week expect lots of fruit salad. In the meantime, I still hate spaghetti squash.

Breakfast

Brown rice tortilla with scrambled “egg product” (I thought I grabbed a carton of egg whites, but was sorely mistaken), lite cheese, and avocado

Lunch

I stopped for a little treat mid-errand today.
Pinkberry plain froyo with kiwi, raspberries, and blackberries

Dinner

Why doesn’t anyone ever remind me that I HATE spaghetti squash?

I must have some sort of spaghetti squash amnesia. Everytime I buy one I think, “this time will be better!”
No more, this was my last spaghetti squash.
Spaghetti squash with broccoli, Trader Joe’s meatless meatballs, and pasta sauce

Exercise: Today was a strength day.  I concentrated on my chest and back muscle groups.
