Random thought of the day:

How come ghosts, demons, vampires, and evil clowns are always vanquished by crosses and references to Jesus? I have nothing against Jesus, he seemed like a pretty awesome fellow, but I have a hard time believing that all the spirits featured in haunting shows and horror movies are Christian. There are a lot of other religions in the world, not to mention atheists, agnostics, and general deists.

Can you tell I was watching crappy TV today?

The day started out great. I got up at 6am, got all of my worky-work done by 10am, did some exercise and made a big pot of chili. That’s when the procrastination started to sink in. The reason I got up so early is so I could spend the rest of the day working on class work. Just like in college, the assignments for my writing class seem to be produced in the wee moments before they’re due.

Instead of writing things that would aid my professional development I watched about 9,000 episodes of Psychic Kids on Netflix. Seriously, are there no Shinto ghosts? What about Hindu or Pagan? Where my Jewish ghosts at? The demon fighting world is not politically correct, that’s all I have to say.

Now if you’ll excuse me, it’s time to brew a pot of coffee and start my all-nighter.

Dinner

Since I was silly enough to use the stove for breakfast and lunch, I figured it was only fair to let someone else make me dinner.
Yay for sushi by delivery. After all of my talk of meat yesterday, vegetable sushi sounded mighty good.
