I’m on a new self-pampering kick.  I’ve decided that I have obviously been a wee bit stressed lately, so some forced relaxation is in order.

It’s a rough life, but someone has to do it.

Sunday I spent the day sipping wine, watching movies, painting my nails, catching up on blogs and walking around the beautiful streets of Brooklyn.

Yesterday, I continued my mission to de-stress by meeting up with three of my favorite ladies for dinner and gab session after work.  It really is amazing how therapeutic friendship can be.  Last night was my first night’s sleep in weeks that I didn’t wake up in the middle of the night.  Hello full-night sleeps.  I could get used to these.

I may have  missed my regularly scheduled workout, but they say laughing is quite good cardio and I most definitely did my fair share of that.
