Ahhh, busy life. And by busy I mean I got home last night and forwent my regularly scheduled workout so that I could stay up late reading more Sookie Stackhouse. Ruh-roh, this could become a problem. I just reallyreallyreallyreally want to finish the second book before the series comes out on Netflix (at least that’s what I’m telling myself to justify my irresponsible behavior). Having stayed up late to read, I got up late, only to be awakened by a text message from my aunt at 7:30!
Who am I? Seriously, this is not the Kim well all know. I feel like how I used to when I was a kid and was addicted to RL Stein’s Fear Street series. I used to read a book a day, and my mother eventually put her foot down and said I needed to start using the library because she could not buy me 7 books a week. Lucky for my finances I’m borrowing these books.
On the topic of books, I have my summer reading list all planned: I’m going to knock off the Sookie Series, finish reading Exile, then Committed, Les Miserables, Blink, The Fountainhead, Tess of the d’Urbervilles, White Teeth; and eventually come Fall, Crime and Punishment, Freethinkers, and Kafka on the Shore.
What, normal people don’t have the next 6-months of their reading life completely planned out? You don’t say.
I read a lot. Thank you New York Subway System/Long Island Rail Road/eternal waiting around that seems to be my life. I’m looking forward to sitting in the park reading this summer. What’s on your summer reading list? I’m always looking for new ideas.

In general, I’m not a big jello girl, but I’m on the search for a suitable gummy bear substitute, because well, the gummy bear cravings are getting out of control.
