I didn’t post Friday, I was busy drinking too much:

My friend won a free happy hour from a bar, so of course we went a drinkin’.  I stopped at two, because that’s pretty much my cross over point between completely sober and I can’t feel my teeth.

Then we went to another bar and it was all down hill when someone ordered shots.  I tried.

All in all it was a perfectly lovely weekend.  Saturday was a whopping 72 degrees and sunny, which meant  I spent all day walking around Brooklyn with a BFF,  painting my toenails in the park, drinking iced coffee, and generally just feeling happy to be alive.  It’s amazing what a little sunshine can do for the ole psyche.

Sunday, I was supposed to spend my day testing all the newest trends in exercise at the ECA conference, but the people that worked there were cranky and told me there wasn’t a press pass for me. That’s silly because the good folks I work for told me they’d seen it a couple days earlier just waiting to be claimed.  Oh well, I just had to spend my Sunday lounging about, finishing up some Spring cleaning and being gloriously lazy.  Bummer 😉

Things got even better today when my jobby-job got a whole lot less stressful.  There were some big changes at work today, changes I’d been hoping for for a while  now.  I’m still planning on saving my pennies and leaving in a few months but for the first time in a while I don’t feel a deep sense of dread when I think about my jobby-job.

I celebrated by yogafying tonight.  My class was great it was all about opening up in theme with the Spring Equinox.  It was great and I got the closest I’ve come thus far to a handstand.  I think handstands are going to be a part of my April resolutions.
