Let’s discuss the best $55 I have ever spent.

I’ve admitted before that I’m slightly obsessed with the wonders of Groupon.  A few weeks ago there was a “groupon” for two hours with a professional organizer.  In general, I am a fairly neat and organized person.  In general.  My closet on is not a part of that generalization.  I’ve lived in the same apartment, with the same closet, for almost 7-years and in those almost 7-years, let’s just say it’s gotten a bit out of hand.

It’s hard to throw away clothes!

So, with my groupon, and a professional organizer at my disposal I decided it was time to tackle my closet.  Ooh, look I have pictures:

Ooooh.  Aaaah.

This was so worth the money.  Not only did she help me organize my stuff, but she took the 6 bags of clothes and shoes I donated to Housing Works for me to donate.  She also picked up all the organizing supplies that I reimbursed her for, including matching hangers so my closet is all sorts of streamlined and chic.

I’m feeling slightly obsessed with my closet right now.  Now I’m looking around my apartment for more projects to organize.

Egg white omelet with tomato and feta
Whole grain bread

I stopped at Subway for lunch:
Whole wheat bread with ham, turkey, roast beef and mustard
Baked BBQ chips

Udon noodle soup with shrimp and broccoli (I ran out of bok choy)

I’m off to go stare at my closet some more.  Have a great weekend everyone.
