Today was a well deserved rest day from the gym.  I try to take two days off from the gym a week, and not let them be consecutive, this week I was running out of time.  No gym, but I did have oodles of work and class post-work.  Woohoo.

While my most recent addition to my job line-up is not exactly my cup of tea, it does add some outside structure to my days that writing from my couch did not.  I was talking to a friend recently, who also battles the structureless days of working from home, who said, “You know it’s not our fault we battle with structure; structure comes from the outside.”  It’s true, we need outside limitations, unless of course we are human beings of superior self will of which I am not, to help reign us in.  Since stepping outside my pajamas and back into the world of the living I have found it much easier to prioritize my gym time and focus on my eating habits.

Could it be that the key to healthy living is having a job?  Well, I’m sure it’s more complicated than that, but perhaps a little outside order to our days is helpful.

I’m going to sleep now, because there is no brain power left in this lil noggin of mine. Happy eating, and if you have time, could you eat dinner for me, I seem to have forgotten…

This was supposed to be my snack today, but by the time I got home at 10pm, I was too tired to eat, thus this being my snanner (snack-dinner)

Keylime Larabar (Surprisingly delightful.  I didn’t have high hopes for this one but it was quite tastey.)
