Have any of you ever had that feeling of “coming home” to somewhere that is definitely not your home?
That’s really how I’ve always felt about Boston. I first visited Boston when I was in high school for a music department trip and I was totally head-over-heels in love with the city. I went to college there and loved every second of it, but eventually I went back to New York-my real home. This weekend, being back in Beantown was kind of emotional for me-I really love that city so much and part of me is considering running away from New York for the summer and subletting an apartment there just to fill that void. I’m sure it’s all just a flight of fancy, but honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if I ended up there one day.
Shooting the film was good. It was a fun experience and I’m looking forward to seeing the final version. When I get it, I’ll forward it on to you. Our team theme for the 48-Hour Film Festival was Super Heroes. I played the bitchy supervisorial hero with the power of hindsight. It was a really cute production. Here’s a picture of me on set:
Speaking of pictures, I haven’t gotten new batteries yet, so I’m using my camera phone. They’re not the best quality, but you get the idea.
