My dumpling dinner plans were rescheduled. Instead I ate a beautiful piece of cornbread with jam for dinner. It was a little bit of heaven if I do say so myself.
I obviously wasn’t planning on an all starch dinner but while wandering the aisles of Whole Foods in search of milk and eggs and many other over priced foods I came across the most beautiful piece of cornbread in existence and it just looked so light and fluffy and soothing and I was instantly in love and knew exactly what I wanted for dinner.
Perhaps not the most well rounded of meals, but sometimes your food should serve no other purpose than to put a smile on your face.
