I’m pretty sure that April is supposed to be warmer than December, but you know, I’m still young, so what do I know?  It’s freezing.  I’ve been plodding through the mass quantities of jibberish I’m scheduled to write and well, they’re pretty much just that, jibberish.  It’s a pretty uneventful Tuesday in the world apparently, sigh.

Except for Vermont!  Yay, Vermont!  Unfortunately it’s not the sort of stuff I write about, but it still makes the day seem a bit brighter.

I’m pretty sure that no one loves grocery shopping as much as I do.  I love it.  I find it so calming and cathartic.  So, in an effort to rest my somewhat befuddled brain I stocked up on fruits and veggies and milk and yogurt, which it looks like I will be sustaining myself on during the coming week.  Produce is so expensive.  Regardless of how much time I spend researching and reading about food, I still can’t comprehend why food that grows naturally without processing costs so much more than food that takes a team of lab techs to create.

Anyhoo, while I was at the store I saw watermelon, and it was a total impulse buy, but it looked so summery and amazing.  Obviously the fact that I needed gloves to bring it home is a sign that it’s not summer, but I needed a little summer time.  I’m fairly convinced that all of April is going to be a rain storm.

Perrey: I’m glad I’m not the only one who has experienced such a bizarre form of commerce.

Ace: Thanks!  I got it at Daffy’s, which is a discount store.  Not sure if they have that particular store all over the country, but I’m sure there have got to be other similar stores that have teapots.

Whole wheat English muffin
Veggie burger w/avocado and tomato
String beans

I haven’t hit the gym yet, I’m probably going to do that in the evening as a way of breaking up the work day.  I guess my resolution to manage my working time better isn’t working out so well.
