Have you guys seen Watchmen? I saw it the other day with my mom and aunt. For some reason I always end up watching movies with really explicit sex scenes with my mother. Unfaithful, that was an awkward moment in our mom/daughter relationship. Watchmen was no exception, there was a pretty intense romantic interlude rocking that movie, which was actually pretty reminiscent of real sex as opposed those strangely overly composed sex scenes we usually see. There were lots of funny faces, which made me laugh, and also made me miss a good ole make out session. There was also the blue guy that walked around the entire movie with his blue cyber penis swinging about. It was kind of a hot movie.
Anyhoo, yeah, I miss cuddling.
I’m currently watching The Doctors because I’m not quite ready to be a functional adult yet. They just showed a clip from an endocrinologist who said that she starts off each day with a dairy product because studies have shown that eating dairy first thing in the morning will guarantee a five lbs. weight loss by the end of the month. Does that sound right to you? I mean, she is a doctor. But, I’m pretty sure I’ve read that all those dairy-diet connections were disproved. I don’t necessarily think it’s a bad thing to eat dairy, I agree that dairy can be a healthy addition to your diet, but I think it’s a bit strange for a doctor to promise on national TV that you’ll lose 5 lbs. in a month.
Danielle: The brand of flat bread is Mediterranean Pita. I like them because they’re all natural and only have a handful of ingredients. They do go bad super quickly however so I pop them in the freezer and defrost as needed.
I’m hitting up a spin class and an abs class today. I haven’t used my new sneakers on a spin bike yet and I’m a bit worried-these really are running shoes. I think it may be time I actually invest in a set of spinning shoes-something I’ve been avoiding for YEARS. Anyone have a favorite brand of spinning shoes?
