Day four of my detox and so far it really hasn’t been all that hard to stick to. Well, except when there are cupcakes around, but I reigned supreme over those cupcakes, yes I did. And except that I miss coffee like whoa, but the foods that I am eating are totally satisfying and I’m not really craving anything except a latte. Today however presents another challenge to my detoxing self as I have long standing lunch plans with a friend. Methinks it would be slightly inappropriate to call my friend and say that I can’t meet her as I have to lock myself at home and eat beans. So, I’ll stick to salad, and possibly soup if they have a vegetable based soup.
Lara: Nope, no weight gain. I was going to wait to weigh myself till then end, but your question made me curious so I hopped on the scale this morning and I’m down three pounds. Not too shabby, two more pounds and I’ll be back down to my pre-holiday weight. But, like I said at the beginning of my detox this isn’t really about weight loss for me right now, it’s more about my body cleansing itself of all the crap I put in it over the holidays.
On to breakfast, I was obsessed with my breakfast yesterday, it was just really soothing and yummy and I couldn’t wait to wake up today and eat it again. So, today will be a bit redundant (as are most days):
Oatmeal made with almond milk, pumpkin spice and banana
Half Grapefruit (a girl can’t have too much vitamin C)
