I can say that I am so not stressed when it comes to work these days.  For the past few months I’ve felt like tearing my hair out everyday when I get to the office, the workload has just been so overwhelming but now I feel so much more relaxed.  I can use this time to edit my resume and look for jobs, and yes there’s still work to do, and I do it, but at my own pace and if it doesn’t get done, well honestly that’s not so much my problem as most of the work I’m doing is not my actual job and I’m leaving in a month.  Perhaps that’s petty, but I think I get to be a bit petty.

Yesterday I hit the gym in the morning and just didn’t want to leave.  Which is weird. I ran for an extra 20 minutes more than I planned, then did some strength training, then hit the elliptical then the stretching room (which I rarely do, I usually just do a quick stretch on the treadmill after running-bad Kim).  I think it may have been the stress relief or the fact that it’s freezing outside.  Today after work I’m going to run a bit, then I’ll hit up a spin class.  Trying to burn a few extra calories before Thanksgiving to ward off the holiday weight gain.

I didn’t go grocery shopping this weekend as I’m only working 2.5 days this week and then I’m going out to Long Island where I’ll buy cheaper groceries and drive into Brooklyn with them for our family’s version of Turkey day which happens on Sunday not Thursday.
