Ahh, I woke up this morning feeling relaxed. For the first time in a long time. I credit a good weekend in with good company and good food. It’s back to the grind today, but I’m feeling slightly more optimistic as I’ve actually banked some sleep. Tonight I’m hitting up a Punk Rope class. One of the perks to writing for Elastic Waist is I get to try out not only oodles of exercise DVDs, but exercise classes. I’m bringing my editor Sarah, it should be fun.

I’ve got a pretty busy week a head of me, but that’s nothing new, and I am actively trying to remain in good spirits about it. Yesterday I tried my hand at making homemade chicken noodle soup for the first time and it’s quite scrumptious if you ask me. The recipe will be on Elastic Waist tomorrow. In the mean time, here’s what I’m eating:

Low fat plain yogurt (strained) with honey, almonds and banana
Grape Juice

Lunch

Chicken Noodle Soup
Radishes
Peanut Butter Granola Bar
