Who knew that hospitals had free wireless?  I guess that makes distracting oneself a bit easier.  I’m making the most of the hospital cafeteria.  It’s only breakfast time but I’m doing my part to keep the cafeteria staff employed.  My dad seemed a bit scared this morning, I hope this gets him in gear and makes him realize how important it is to take care of himself.  I’m trying to look on the bright side that sometimes you need to be scared straight.  Parents, they’re like children only older and more grouchy when you try to take care of them.

Breakfast

Total Raisin Bran (I don’t particularly like raisin bran but it seemed like the healthiest of my cereal options.  somehow I just can’t justify fruit loops to get me through the day.)
1% milk
Coffee w/half and half and equal
orange juice, not pictured

Lunch

Beef Noodle Soup
It’s amazing how hard it is to find something moderately healthy in a hospital cafeteria, I figured I couldn’t go too wrong with soup.  I’m not sure how it’s possible but this whole thing, even the noodles, just tasted like water.  Yum.

Dinner

I met up with some friends, post hospital, for dinner.  We went to a local Mexican fast-foodish type Mexican restaurant, that reminded me a lot of Poquito Mas in Los Angeles.  The food was great!
2 Fish Tacos (no jokes please, this is a generally PG rated blog)
tortilla chips
