It’s hump day, which is actually my “Thursday” this week.  Flex Friday scheduling means I work extra hours for nine days and have every other Friday off.  I’m heading out to the land of Long Island for some good ole fashion family time after work tomorrow.  I think it’s needed.  A change of scenery.  A change of pace.  A little pampering.  Friends.  Diner Food.  Really what could be bad?  I’m going to get my tarot cards read on Sunday with a friend of mine.  The reader was recommended by a friend of mine who is an astrologer.  Okay, so yeah, I believe in that.  I’ve been reading cards since I was 12, but I’m completely incapable of reading my own.  Perhaps I’ll find out some delightfully juicy gossip about my celestial self.

I’ve got another date tonight.  Different guy.  I think after this I’m giving dating a rest for a while.  It’s so awkward and artificial.  Ugh.

I haven’t worked out in 10 days.  That’s a problem.  I haven’t been feeling awesome, physically, that is.  I don’t like the effect on my body when I’m not active.  But more than that, I don’t like the effect on my energy level.  I’m just way more energetic when I exercise regularly, and I really need that with my crazy schedule.  I’m going to bring some exercise videos out to ye olde Island this weekend and possibly go running with my dad.
