Okay, I didn’t start blogging again on Monday like I promised, but Monday was a holiday.  A holiday of BBQ-ing at that, and BBQ-ing there was.  I certainly ate, drank and was merry this weekend and I woke up this morning feeling really sick to my stomach (and no, it wasn’t due to drinking).  So, I think for the next few days I’m going to eat as “cleanly” as possible.

Breakfast

Smoothie with soy milk, strawberries and raspberries
Whole Wheat English Muffin with Organic Peanut Butter

Snack

Instant Miso Soup ala Trader Joes. It’s actually the most decent tasting instant miso soup I’ve had, I would definitely recommend it.

Dinner
 
Salad with lettuce, tomato, carrot and avocado with lite honey mustard vinaigrette
Chick Pea and Eggplant Stew
Whole Grain Bread

I love my slow cooker.  There’s something so satisfying about coming home at the end of the day to a piping hot stew.  Mmmm.  I tend to like eggplant a lot when other people make it (meaning when restaurants fry it) but the eggplant in this stew came out really well.

I haven’t decided if I’m going to workout tonight or not, but I most definitely am hitting the gym tomorrow morning for cardio and most likely doing a FIRM strength training video tomorrow night.

Now where did I put that ambition?
