OMG!  Apparently there’s something to this whole eating well and exercise thing, who knew?  This morning just for giggles as my curling iron was heating I tried on my “control” jeans.  These are jeans I’ve had for about 2 years.  I bought them online from a store I always buy jeans from in the size that I always wear, but these must have been mis-sized because they wouldn’t even go over my hips.  Seriously!  So, for a while I hung them in my room as an inspiring reminder to get my butt to the gym.  This morning I tried them on and I kid you not, they fit.  I didn’t even have to lay down to zip them, they just fit!  OMG!  I feel like running around naked screaming look at my smaller hips!!!!  That might be inappropriate, but hey, you only live once, perhaps my lunch break.

Speaking of food.  I did eat dinner last night, but I didn’t post it.  I went running then to a 90-minute Bikram class after work and by the time I got home I was so exhausted I knew cooking wasn’t an option and photographing my food was a laughable idea, I just wanted to ingest and sleep.  So, I made myself a smoothie with 1cup of 1%milk, 1 cup frozen strawberries and a banana.  It was good.  I also had a hard boiled egg.  Then i went to bed.  I know you shouldn’t eat right before sleeping, but I certainly wasn’t going to wait three hours to hit the hay, so food coma it was.

Today, there’s no exercise becuase I’m going to see some friends in a comedy showcase.  I will however be eating things.  Here’s what I’ve got so far:

Hey, no one can accuse me of neglecting my daily fruit requirements.  So there.
