I need to stop drinking.  Seriously.  Last night was a celebratory outing with the production staff of The Daily Special there were yummy appetizers served (sorry I forgot to take pictures) and many a drink flowing.  I feel like so much of my social life lately has revolved around alchohol and I don’t really like that, I feel like too much of a good thing is too much, so I think I’m going to make an attmept to go booze free for a few months.  I’ve been doing so many great things for my body, yoga, running, vitamin C in my facial lotion, and the alchoholic aspect of my social life really takes away from all those positive things. 

Sorry, that was just a little rant of what’s been festering in my mind.  Now down to the nitty gritty.  Food.  I made myself a breakfast sandwich to kill the egg beaters in my fridge before I leave for the airport.  Besides buffalo wings, egg sandwiches might just be my most favorite food ever!

Decaff Green Tea (in an attempt to cleanse my body)
Whole Wheat Bread
Egg Beaters
Light Cheese
Turkey Bacon

I’m not hungry now and I’m leaving for the airport in about a half hour, and won’t land in Miami till this evening, so I know that there’s going to need to be some sort of healthy option for me to reach for otherwise that gross airport food seems mightily appealing.

Tuna Sandwich on Whole Wheat

I grabbed a couple of Lara Bars to bring with me for over the weekend.  I’m so addicted to the Pecan Pie flavor and the Cashew Cookie flavor.  Note, neither of these flavores are particularly low in calories or fat.

I’m not bringing my computer with me in an attempt to simplify my trip, so I won’t be posting till Monday, but I will take pictures and do a recap when I get back. 

Wish me luck on my climb, I’m going to need it!
