Happy St. Patrick’s Day.  I love holidays.

My Monday night rehearsal was cancelled this week, which means I have an unexpectedly free evening.  I think I may fill those unaccounted for hours with an extra yoga class this week, my body could use a little more purification, although I do feel like I’m on a good track.

I feel really well rested, which is rare for me.  Friday night I totally bailed on all of my plans (sorry friends) and slept for 13 hours, and it was glorious.  Last night I got about 7 hours, it’s weird, I feel almost like a real life functional human being.  I don’t even mind that it’s Monday.  Are those pigs flying that I see?

Breakfast 3.17.08: Fit and Fiber
breakfast 3.17
Weetabix with Strawberries and 1% milk
Coffee with milk and splenda

The problem with Weetabix (not the blogger, the cereal) is that it gets soggy super quickly. I like it, and I like it’s weird biscuity shape, it’s novelty and cute.  But I feel like I need to shovel it in NASCAR style if I’m going to get it in before it turns into a delightful paper mache consistency.  Wow, that’s sounds appealing.

Lunch 3.17.08: Keepin’ it green
lunch 3.17
Turkey Sandwich on whole wheat
Grapes
Garden Salad w/balsamic vinegrette
Celery with Peanut Butter

I just want to clarify that I don’t sit down for lunch and ingest massive amounts of fiber rich foods, I spread my meal out over the course of the day.  Grapes for an AM snack, sandwich and side salad for lunch, celery and peanut butter for a 3 o’clock snack.  It keeps me going for what are usually pretty long days.  I wasn’t planning on having so many green foods for lunch, but I now consider it an unplanned homage to my Irish heritage.  Yeah celery!

I’m so excited about having a free evening!  This must be how normal people feel.
