I have a confession to make.  I didn’t workout last night.  I had a rehearsal and didn’t get back home till 11:30pm and was just way too tired to sweat it up in my tiny NYC apartment.  I also didn’t go to yoga this morning because I was sleeping and I really haven’t been doing enough of that lately.  But, I really am trying to get myself back in gear.  My calf feels like it’s healed now, so there’s really no excuse not to go all out in regard to exercise (I mean besides my ridiculous schedule, but I generally don’t use that as a valid excuse).  So, tonight is a Friday night, I am meeting a friend for drinks after work and possibly going to another friends one-woman comedy show, but after that I’m totally doing some semblance of exercise.  I promise.

As for food, this mornings breakfast was super yummy, I decided to change up my morning oatmeal.  I used lite soy milk instead of water, mixed in some splenda and cinnamon, and stirred in a banana once the oatmeal was thickened.  The results were a sweet nutty oatmeal that was the epitome of comfort food.  Note: you do not need as much soy milk as you do water; I learned this the hard way.
