Ahhhhh, the smell of derelict and pollution in the air makes me feel all warm and tingly inside.  I’m back in New York.  I went grocery shopping early Sunday morning; filling my fridge with challenge friendly foods.  I didn’t blog yesterday about my food intake, because well, I was really tired and needed some downtime.  I did however eat healthy and do some yoga.

Speaking of yoga, the conference food obviously  wore down my system.  I’ve been doing Bikram yoga for about 3 months now, and I love it, it’s an obsession, but I totally have issues when I don’t eat healthy.  You really need a clean system to get through the class.  This is usually not a problem for me, but yesterday I felt light-headed and so nauseous that I had to leave the class.  Luckily I had a very nice instructor, who told me that there were just toxins in my system that needed to be released and to just lay there and absorb the heat and clear out.  So, I did that and finished the class albiet somewhat feebly.

But, today is a new day, and I’m cleansing my system of all the junk last week filled me with.

About my coffee.  You know how they say that those that do the same thing over and over again and expect different results are exemplifying insanity.  Well, every morning I make coffee, then I don’t have time to drink it before hair and make-up and shooting The Daily Special calls me away.  So, I put it in the fridge and drink it at night.  Then I get to the studio, make a cup of coffee, drink a few sips on the couch, then leave to go to work and am still totally uncaffeinated.  Finally at work I drink gross office coffee.  Me thinks I need to work on my timing.

Turkey sandwich on whole wheat with lite cheddar.  (I can’t remember if lite cheese is challenge friendly, but I know laughing cow cheese is, so it only seems fair.)

 For dinner tonight I’m meeting with a friend/writing partner to work on some scripts we’ve been working on.  I’m hoping there’s a salad involved.  Ooh, veggies how I’ve missed you!
