I have a new food obsession, and no, it’s not edible body paint.  It’s Cascadian Farms Peanut Butter Chip Chewy Granola Bars.  Yeah, I’d like to go on a date with this snack bar.  I might even want to have a million of it’s chewy granola bar babies.

I have a serious need for snacks.  When you eat breakfast at 5:30 am, it’s hard to wait till noon for lunch, and well, I don’t want to be that weird girl that takes her lunch break at 10am, so, I keep an arsenal of snacks on hand for the mid morning hunger pangs that need some serious cessation.

What’s the stats on these bars? Honestly, I hadn’t looked at the nutrition info until I sat down to write this post, but now that I’m looking at it; they ain’t bad.  The draw for me was that they’re completely organic, but the nutritional info is decent.  They’re not super low in fat but calories are about average and they have a couple of grams of protein.

Is it wrong to be in love with a pantry item? I don’t know, but if being right means living without these super yummy peanut butter bars, I want to be wrong, wrong, wrong.
